UFC 132 Play-by-Play: Melvin Guillard vs. Shane Roller

Round 1: Guillard opens with a flying attack followed by a flurry of strikes that just miss.  Melvin whips a left hook/right hook combo with the latter landing and backing Roller up.  Guillard looking light on his feet as he throws a front kick to the chest of Roller. Roller looking a bit confused and wary by Guillard’s strike at this point.  Accidental eye poke from Guillard briefly halts the action, as Guillard motions Roller to fight; the crowd boo’s Melvin.  Fight back on as Guillard feigns a punch and follows with a flying knee that barely misses.  A wild exchange from both with Roller tagging Guillard at the end of it.  Guillard

with a thick sweat already brewing all over his body.  Huge left uppercut from Guillard drops Roller! He comes in for the finish as Roller drops! He drills Roller on the canvas to put an exclamation point on the end of the fight.  Brutal finish by Melvin Guillard, and the crowd goes wild!
