The Ultimate Fighting Championship has been working for years to legalize mixed martial arts in the state of New York. This year has seen the promotion come as close as ever in trying to get a bill sanctioning the sport in New York passed through the assembly. But once again, it appears the bill will fall short at the eleventh hour.
UFC president Dana White is done making predictions about opening up New York, but he’s not ready to back down.
“We’re not going away. We’re gonna keep going. We’re gonna keep working it and working it and working it until we get it in.”
