Tom Lawlor will still get to fight in August, but now he’ll face former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ competitor Kyle Noke at UFC on Versus 5 set for August 14 in Milwaukee, Wisc.
Noke made the announcement on his Twitter account late Wednesday night.
Lawlor (7-3) was set to appear on the UFC 134 card in Brazil against Maiquel Falcao, but after legal troubles ended his UFC career, he was left without an opponent.
So instead of traveling to Brazil, Lawlor will now travel to Milwaukee instead.
Facing Lawlor at the UFC on Versus 5 card will be fellow ‘Ultimate Fighter’ alum Kyle Noke (19-4-1) who has looked outstanding in his 3 fights since the reality show.
Noke has finished all three fights defeating Josh Bryant, Rob Kimmons and most recently Chris Camozzi at UFC 127 in his native Australia.
Noke and Lawlor meet on the August 14 card for the UFC’s first ever trip to the state of Wisconsin.
