UFC on Versus 5 Fight Card: CB Dollaway Draws Jared Hamman

The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Monday added another bout to the UFC on Versus 5 fight card, which takes place on Aug. 14 in Milwaukee, Wisc. The card is filling up fast with the addition of a middleweight contest between Jared Hamman and CB Dollaway.

“Two time ‘Fight of the Night’ winner Jared ‘The Messenger’ Hamman has verbally agreed to face two time ‘Submission of the Night’ winner CB ‘The Doberman’ Dollaway,” said UFC president Dana White.

Hamman (11-3) is moving down in weight for the fight to test the waters at 185 pounds. He previously fought at light heavyweight, losing two out of his three fights in the Octagon. He is coming off of a loss to Kyle Kingsbury last September.

Dollaway (11-3) enters the bout on the heels of a knockout loss to Mark Munoz in March, but was riding a three-fight winning streak prior to that fight in Louisville, Ky. He lost in the TUF 7 season finale to Amir Sadollah, but has done well in the UFC, amassing a record of 5-3 in the Octagon.

UFC on Versus 5 also features marquee bouts between Dan Hardy and Chris Lytle, as well as pitting Jim Miller against Ben Henderson in a battle between lightweight contenders.
