Ohio fighter Brian ‘The Predator’ Rogers it the latest edition to the season 5 Bellator middleweight tournament, which kicks off later this fall to determine the next challenger for champion Hector Lombard’s title.
Rogers has put together an impressive resume over the couple of years, and he’s currently riding a six-fight win streak.
He last competed in Strikeforce in March during the Henderson vs. Feijao card where he pummeled Ian Rammel with strikes ending the fight in the first round.
Rogers has been a mainstay in the Ohio fight scene for the majority of his fight career, but now he’ll look to step into the fray of the Bellator middleweight tournament.
The tournament currently has several other names vying for a shot at Lombard after season 5 including past finalist Alexander Shlemenko, as well as Sam Alvey, who earned his shot with a win in last night’s Bellator 45 show against Karl Amoussou.
Bellator has yet to release the brackets for the upcoming tournament, but it’s expected to kick off this fall and air on MTV2.
