Round 1
The fighters forge to the center of the cage, and a quick leg kick
lands from Smith. Rickels replies with one of his own, prompting
Smith to get a single-leg, putting Rickels down. Smith transitions
into half guard after pulling out of a triangle from Rickels. Smith
starts landing some ground-and-pound from the top. The pounding
continues until Rickels grabs the head of his foe, locking up a
guillotine. He transitions to a triangle, and it's deep. Rickels
pulls down on the head of Smith, forcing him to tap out at 3:32 of
the very first round.
Round 1
Prindle comes out with a right hook and a leg kick which Burns
avoids. Prindle follows up with an errant groin kick, which prompts
referee Kevin Nix to give Burns a mintue to recover. Upon
restarting, the pair touch gloves and are away again. Some
tentative blows turn into strong exchanges, making the crowd's
volume rise. Prindle lands a left, but misses with the follow-up
right. Both fighters charge into each other, landing blows
upstairs. Prindle throws another inside leg kick. Burns responds
with whiffed head shots. Prindle is seemingly happy to land the leg
kicks and following up with his left straight. It is Prindle
pushing the pace now, until Burns lands a left-right combo to the
head which rocks Prindle back on his heels. They clinch with 10
seconds to go, and flurry at the bell, with Prindle landing
cleaner. Sherdog.com sees the opening round 10-9 for Eric
Prindle.
Round 2
The second stanza starts with another inside leg kick which lands
squarely on Burns' groin. It takes Burns a took two minutes to
recover, and in the mean time, referee Kevin NIx deducts a point
from the protesting Prindle. When they resume, they charge at one
another, and Burns lands a flurry. They clinch, and on the break,
Burns launches a right-left to Prindle's head, just glancing. Both
fighters are breathing deeply with two minutes to go in the second,
and Burns has a deep cut above his eye from one of Prindle's
attacks. Burns turns the corner on Prindle attempting to take the
back of his foe, but Prindle easily shrugs him off. Prindle attacks
now, landing a right followed by a big knee in the clinch as the
round comes to an end. Sherdog.com sees the round 10-8 Burns with
the point deduction.
Between rounds, the ringside physician declares that the cut above Josh Burns' left eyebrow is too severe to continue. Eric Prindle is the winner by doctor stoppage at the end of the second round.
Round 1
Stinson comes out punching, clearly the superior boxer. James
attempts to respond with a kick, but Stinson catches it, trips him
up, and takes his back. Stinson instantly looks for the choke, but
can't get it. James shakes Stinson off and winds up in his guard,
but is caught in an armbar. James manages to free his arm, and
starts chipping away with punches to the ribs. Stinson controls
James head, and his foe is forced to idly punch at his midsection
from the guard. As the round winds down, James turns Stinson away
from the fence, and it's Stinson from the bottom landing clean
elbows. Sherdog.com sees the opening frame 10-9 James.
Round 2

Round 3
The third and final stanza starts and Stinson lands an inside leg
kick. James responds with a left body kick of his own, followed by
two lefts. Stinson launches a telegraphed left which James deftly
dodges. James pushes Stinson to the cage and then the separate,
Stinson keeping James at bay with his right jab. James takes his
turn to push the pace, landing some crisp combinations, then
missing an attempted takedown. More tentative punches until Stinson
lifts up James and slams him to the cage floor, causing the local
crowd to let out its approval. James returns the favor and gets
into side control. Bell. Sherdog.com sees the round 10-9 for Tyler
Stinson, and the fight for him 29-28 overall.
Official scores: Judge Gary Ritter sees the bout 29-28 for Nathan James. However, David Sutherland and Jim Lambert see it 29-28 for the winner by split decision, Tyler Stinson.

Round 2
Chandler lunges with a right hook and just glances. The wrestler is
looking more comfortable standing, but Woodard continues to back
away. Chandler steps in, and Woodard flurries with short uppercuts.
Chandler swings a low kick and shoots low, but Woodard stuffs him,
and smashes him with an uppercut and two stiff knees. The two are
exchanging now. Chandler kicks outside, and Woodard lands a hard
right cross. "Cupcake" steps forward, and Chandler plants him on
the ground once more. Woodard tries scoot away, but Chandler
remains attached to his waist, as the Montana native scoots up the
cage. Woodard sprawls and breaks free, and lands a hard uppercut.
Chandler gets low, and slams Woodard to the mat again, however
Woodard locks up a kimura that he sweeps the wrestler with, forcing
a scramble. Woodard locks up a rear waistlock, and forces Chandler
to the ground. Woodard smoothly maintains control, and sinks his
hooks, taking Chandler's back. Chandler stands, and Woodard tries
to lock up a rear-naked choke. Chandler falls to the mat, belly
down, as Woodard wrenches his face. Chandler breaks free, and eats
some wild punches from Woodard at the bell.

Round 3
Chandler lands a stiff jab, and follows up with a right cross that
puts Woodard into the fence. They clinch, and Woodard gets
underhooks. Chandler drops levels and gets in on Woodard's legs,
sucking them out. Woodard stands back up, and Chandler slams him
right back down. Chandler grinds with short punches and gets to
half guard. The pace slows and referee Jason Herzog stands the bout
up, but Chandler immediately gets top control again after Woodard
latches on to a headlock. Chandler passes to full mount and cracks
Woodard before falling back into half guard. Chandler punches away
while Woodard tries to control his arms fruitlessly.

Round 1
Weedman swings a combination and Hieron ducks under, circling out.
Both men put their heads down and throw bombs, and it’s Hieron who
falls to his backside after a Weedman left hand grazes. Weedman
jumps into full mount with Hieron at the base of the cage, but
Hieron sweeps beautifully and takes top position. Hieron has a
headlock and is working for a brabo choke. The “Thoroughbred”
snakes his right hand onto his left bicep, but Weedman defends the
choke well and regains half-guard. Hieron goes for it again and
steps over, though he can’t extract his foot from Weedman’s
half-guard. Hieron abandons it and finds himself back in Weedman’s
full guard with just over 90 seconds left. Upkick from Weedman
staggers the standing Hieron, but it did not appear to land flush.
Hieron goes back into Weedman’s guard, then stands and shucks the
legs, throwing heavy hands at Weedman’s head. Weedman scrambles to
his feet, where Hieron clinches with him again and drills a few
knees before the bell.

Round 3
Weedman continues coming forward and puts a one-two on Hieron.
Another punch finds its mark and Hieron dives for a takedown,
plowing Weedman to the mat. Weedman grabs at Hieron’s neck and the
pair tumbles over before standing back up. Low kick and a right
hand connect for Weedman. Hieron lands a right, Weedman answers
with a one-two, and then Hieron comes back with a nasty three-punch
combo. Hieron is still constantly backpedaling and counterstriking.
Left hook puts Weedman on one knee, but Hieron’s follow-up punches
can’t seal the deal. Weedman sweeps the leg and puts Hieron on the
mat, where the Xtreme Couture representative turtles and Weedman
tries to leap on his back. Hieron twists over and motions to
referee Jason Herzog, but it’s unclear exactly what the complaint
is. Weedman steps into mount with one minute to go, riding high on
Hieron, who slips out the back door. Hieron can’t muster much on
his punches and gets kicked away by Weedman. Just before the bell,
Hieron passes to side control.

Round 1
Jason Herzog is the referee for the evening’s televised main event.
Thompson comes out with some fancy footwork, catches a kick from
Askren and misses with a few overhand rights. Thompson catches the
champ with a right hand, but Askren goes from turtling to top
position with a single-leg in no time flat. Askren quickly passes
to the right side of Thompson, who tries to shrimp underneath the
wrestler. North-south position for Askren, then he steps around to
Thompson’s left. Askren is blanketing with Thompson’s head trapped
under his arm. Hammerfists from the posturing Askren prompt
Thompson to grab at a leg lock, but nothing’s coming. Askren tries
to pin the arm of Thompson, can’t get it and Thompson rolls to
turtle. Referee Herzog warns Askren for punching to the back of
Thompson’s head and Thompson rolls back over. More punches from
Askren as Thompson tries to stand before getting swept back under.
Total domination from Askren with 60 seconds to go. Thompson
appears to be bleeding from the bridge of the nose. Thompson gets
to his feet and Askren drags him back down just before the
bell.

Round 2
Askren swings a wide left hand and ducks in behind it to bring
Thompson down again. Quickly back to side control goes Askren, but
he’s prevented from mounting by Thompson. Another leg lock attempt
from Thompson falls by the wayside as Askren rolls over him and
takes his back. Askren’s right arm goes across Thompson’s face; he
can’t get it under the chin and Thompson survives the scare. Askren
stands over Thompson and tries to bomb into guard, but the punches
miss. Half-guard for Askren and Thompson tries to tie up from
beneath. Askren punches to the body and stands before being
awkwardly tripped down by the laying Thompson. No matter -- Askren
immediately goes back to side control, then locks up a brabo choke
when Thompson tries to scramble. Thompson rolls free and finishes
the round on bottom once again.

Round 3
Thompson tries to keep Askren on the end of his jab for the first
40 seconds of the final round... until he’s taken down once again
by the former Mizzou Tiger. Thompson gets full guard this time and
tries to sneak his legs up the body of Askren, but both men are too
slippery at this point. Askren passes to side control and gets to
work with short, light punches. Thompson regains half-guard as
Askren lays his forearm across the throat of the “Goat.” Askren
steps out, stacks Thompson up and moves to north-south as Thompson
turtles. Thompson gets to his feet and Askren tries an ankle pick,
but can’t get it. Thompson desperately dives on the grounded Askren
with 10 seconds to go, but his few punches do no damage and come
far too late.

Round 1
The opening round sees the fighters charge at each other and start
to throw big blows to each others head. Local prospect Osborn takes
some knees in a clinch, and lands a big elbow to the head of
Osborn. Osborn counters with a stiff right, swarming Carrillo.
Osborn lands some huge ground-and-pound from above. Referee Jason
Herzog is forced to intervene at 1:27 of the first round.
