Nine preliminary fights have reportedly been booked for the undercard of Strikeforce “Diaz vs. Cyborg.” Sherdog.com confirmed the matchups Tuesday with sources close to the event; MMAJunkie.com initially reported the untelevised contests.

The biggest bout on the undercard, a scrap between Nate Moore and Nathan Coy will take place in the welterweight division.

An American Kickboxing Academy product, Moore has won two of his last three. Most recently, he was knocked out by prospect Tarec Saffiedine at Strikeforce Challengers 8 in May. Moore has finished all six of his career victims by either knockout or submission.

Coy is best known for his split decision loss to blue chip prospect Tyron Woodley, also at “Challengers 8.” The Team Quest representative had won his previous three contests heading into his bout with Woodley. Like Moore, “Soulforce” is a finisher, having stopped six of his eight conquered foes.

Also on the ticket are two female bouts, as muay Thai juggernaut Germaine de Randamie continues her MMA campaign against Stephanie Webber, and Fairtex Gym product Jenna Castillo will meet Charlene Gellner.

Other bouts in the works include a lightweight tilt between Bobby Stack and Isaiah Hill, and a 180-pound catchweight affair pitting Eric Lawson against Ron Keslar. The evening will also feature a welterweight scrap between Lucas Gamaza and James Terry, a 150-pound catchweight bout showcasing Anthony Dariano and Alan Perez, a 165-pound contest between Niko Jackson and Ricky Jackson, and a welterweight duel pairing Sam Bracamonte with Amir Safiari.

The event, which emanates from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., is headlined by the titular welterweight title clash between champion Nick Diaz and challenger Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos. The show also features a middleweight championship bout in the co-main event, as Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza puts his belt on the line against hard-hitting Robbie Lawler.
